Dr. Uday Subhash Sawant Dessai is a trusted and compassionate Consultant Pediatrician with extensive experience in the care of newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. He is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, ethical, and family-centred pediatric care with a strong emphasis on prevention, nutrition, and overall child development.

He completed his MBBS from Goa in 2013, followed by Diploma in Child Health (DCH) in 2018. He further pursued DNB Pediatrics from Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, in 2022, one of India’s premier tertiary care hospitals. To strengthen his expertise in child nutrition, he completed PGPN (Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition) from Boston in 2023.

After completing DCH, Dr. Uday trained under the guidance of Dr. Virendra Gaonkar, one of the senior-most pediatricians of Goa, at Healthway Hospital, Old Goa, gaining strong clinical exposure in both outpatient and inpatient pediatric care.

He has also served as a Consultant Pediatrician at PHC Quepem and CHC Curchorem for 1.5 years, where he managed a wide spectrum of pediatric illnesses, neonatal care, immunization services, and pediatric emergencies.
