Dr. Maithili Gajanan Panandikar is a resident of Margao. She completed postgraduation in Ophthalmology at Seth G.S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Further, she has done her DNB at coveted.
L V Prasad Eye Hospital.She was an ex-consultant at KEM Hospital Mumbai.
To pursue her further interests in field of Retina, she has done superspeciality Surgical Retina and Ocular Oncology fellowship (FVRS) from Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore & FAICO (AIOS).She has also done Advanced Ophthalmology fellowship (FICO) affiliated to Royal College of Ophthalmology, UK .
She is expertly trained in Cataract surgery, Retinal Detachment surgery, Advanced Diabetic Eye disease management, Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in newborns. She performs advanced lasers, injections & surgeries for all diabetic retinopathy cases.
Her surgical experience includes the following:

• Including Vitrectomy for all types of cases , Scleral Buckling
• Blast Injury with IOFB in War victims
