Dr.Shreeram A Kamat Dhakankar is a resident of Fatorda and completed his M.B.B.S in the year 2003. He completed his Masters in Orthopedic Surgery in 2007 at Goa Medical College. He also has his degree in Fellowship in Sports & Joint Replacement Surgery from University of Heidelberg, Germany Atos Clinic. He started off his specialty Fellowship in Adult reconstructive Surgery - Arthroscopy & Arthroplasty at the Smith and Nephew Fellowship under Dr Sachin Tapasvi – MS,DNB,AFAOA(Australia) – a surgeon of international repute. He has been a part of the organization committee for the Annual meeting of The Indian Arthroscopy society in Goa in September 2008. Recently he had the privilege of joining the prestigious ATOS clinic in Heidelberg Germany as a fellow. During his tenure of two years he had the opportunity to learn the art of ankle and knee arthroscopy and joint replacement from masters like Prof Hans Paessler, who is a sports surgeon of international repute Prof Hajo Thermann and Dr Rainer Siebold and Dr Fritz Thorey. He worked as a consultant with ATOS LLC Clinic Doha Qatar . He has been a part of discussions, papers and meetings during his career.
